Stale Mate

sometimes there are situations where there is no winner because you fall into a stalemate. It will just end when someone gets tired and leaves. There should be an option to offer a tie.

They aren't stale mates. There can always be a winner. Although winning would be a long, tedious task, it is still possible to win.

yea, but it might take hours. and thats no fun. if both players want to call it a draw, then they should be able to instead of having to spend so much time on just one game. repetative.

and i really dont think that this game would have ended if some1 had not left, because there was only one spot to exchange blows from and we were all spawning our troops fast enough to defend.

That may be so, but if one of you finally decides to take DRASTIC actions, the game can be completed.

and if they made a stale mate but or something of the sorts, people could just abuse it to give themselves and friends more exp.

i dont really know how the xp is currently being distributed, but it wouldnt be any different than friends abusing it by surrendering to eachother.

Offering a draw should split the xp so that you'd get less xp than you would from getting 1st, but more than you would from getting 2nd.

Yeah, I know that. But, people could just get in to two player matches, and make a stale mate. It would be to easy to abuse.

How about the game detecting it and a new button for a draw (magically) appears?

I am not sure if that can work, and even if it can it would likely be a painstaking task. We would have to ask Lopdo.

I don't think auto-stale mate is possible :) I know about this problem and I would like to fix it by improving map generator to make it work better. This problems occur when there are narrow places in map, if we can rid of those, no more stale mates :)
