I recommend that the bonus is random - you would not know until the map was over. It would be one of two things: 0 to 100% bonus in either shards or xp for that map. You would get your random bonus at the end as a "multiplier" which is 1 to 2 times what you should get and this would mean that if it "lands on 1" it did not give you anything extra for that map. It would be an interesting feature for aliens - a mystery to the end.
An alternate proposal is that aliens would be randomly assigned another race bonus each map (every race - including elves and dragons). Even the user would not know which mystery race you had the attributes for - just test it out and "see what it has this time".

Posted: Wed Jul 24, 2013 5:45 pmAliens race bonus is passive in difference from other bonuses that needs race to be active. It gives double xp and is permanent. I agree they could have another bonus though.

The aliens race does not give any bonus atm. The bonus comes from the premium status - you can play as any race now and get the xp bonus.
Being a premium member gives you an xp bonus and another race (aliens). They are two different things.
