Choose distribution mode when miss turn.

I noticed in manual if you miss your turn troop distribution will be random. Please add the option to change to borders. Missed turns shouldn't have to screw up your placement.

Many people wouldn't want their troops on their borders, how is borders less screwed up?

The option is for you to choose. This way if you distribute slow you can make inner regions full of 8s and if you run out of time fill out with 8s. I see your point but on thin maps with regions mostly bordering each other it would be easier to fill up. You could design a map where red can choose to gain from this mode with building up a bunker while the others force themselves to focus on borders just to ensure their survival. Borders is not a good defense. But it slows down in attrition giving player with lots of regions just for distributing a chance to survive. That's how I always play. I spread as fast as I can and build up troops next enemies try to kill them off fast while trying a maintain a defense just enough to survive. I need to use this tactic better since I win more often when PKing than actually taking control of the map.

True, I did not notice that it was a choice, although adding another mode for this could be excessive… I am not sure what to think of this. It seems like missing your turn should be a rare enough occurrence that it doesn't actually matter, however, at least not enough to add a new game mode.

Yes it would rather add a new feature to an already existing mode than a new one though. I just realized that my tactic has changed since in the beginning I noticed it would need betrayal in alliances to function to it's limits' That's why I stopped allying. Which mean I would rather go to kill of players with disadvantage than focus fully on defending if possible. It may sound like an asshole tactic, but it's pretty fair when you realize it should be achieved by coming to the point in game when 4 players dies during same turn to justify it.
But anyway, my suggestion would surely be helpful for new players who haven't learned to distribute their troops so fast. Of course I assume your distribution mode judging by how you play would be best functional in attrition and judging by your playstyle you would probably develop a system that would gain alliances somehow.
