Yes it would rather add a new feature to an already existing mode than a new one though. I just realized that my tactic has changed since in the beginning I noticed it would need betrayal in alliances to function to it's limits' That's why I stopped allying. Which mean I would rather go to kill of players with disadvantage than focus fully on defending if possible. It may sound like an asshole tactic, but it's pretty fair when you realize it should be achieved by coming to the point in game when 4 players dies during same turn to justify it.
But anyway, my suggestion would surely be helpful for new players who haven't learned to distribute their troops so fast. Of course I assume your distribution mode judging by how you play would be best functional in attrition and judging by your playstyle you would probably develop a system that would gain alliances somehow.
