Race name: Calvary
Design: A horse or something, real simple design
Description: A fast conquering army, can outmaneuver and surround the enemy
Bonus: Can split an attack or move in two directions at once, from one square. Keep in mind that all army units but the usual one will still be moved from the square, but the attack/move can be split in half to any two squares that directly touch the origin square. Distribution, when applied in the game, would have the player click first on the square of origin, and then click on the square(s) for the army to be moved to. If there is an odd number (as in from an 8, as one unit would be kept for the origin region) then the first click that the player makes will use the larger half. Application of the movements would, for simplicity's sake, be applied to the game at the same time. For instance, if you wanted to split an eight to attack an enemy, but also wanted to spread to an area behind you, you would have to make both moves at the same time, rather than waiting to see if the attack would defeat the enemy. Additionally, the player does decide to attack an opponents region with all units in one square, the attack will be as a whole, rather than as two halves, for obvious reasons.
Cost: 2800-3200 (based off the prices in shop)

This is an interesting idea, although it seems like you wouldn't want to use it very often. The only case I can imagine wanting to use it is if there is an enemy 4 in one direction and open spaces in the other… would be interesting to see.

It would be best for borders or random placement, when you want to fill in some space, but can't, or when you are surrounded, or when you want to do a bunch of damage to the inside of an opponent.

True, I never do manual anyways so I guess this would be good for me.

But how would the game know if you want to split your troops or not? I mean right now when you click 2 regions in one turn you only attack the first one. So we would either need a button to let the game now when to split. Or it should it be done by highlighting both at once with the mouse?

Perhaps you could hold down shift or something.

Easy. It would be specific to the race anyway, so it can't really compare to the other races in the game as of now. What I was thinking was that you would click on the first region you wanted to move to, which would be highlighted, and then you could either click on the highlighted region again to move all the troops there or you can click on another region that's touching your origin space to move the other half of the troops there. It is only at that point that the two attacks would be carried out. So, if you want to attack one region only (or move to one region only) with all of the troops from the origin square, then you could just do a quick double click and if you did want to use the bonus then you would just do a single click to mark your first move and a second single click on the other area you wanted to move to.
That way, you don't need to worry about any of those other extra movement things and you could progress through the games at the same approximate speed and whatnot as with other races.

I think most of the time you would still want to just do a normal attack, so it would be better to only add burden when you are doing a double attack.

Double clicking shouldn't be a burden.
