Randomly placed map droppings

Don't think this has been suggested before (did try to find it), something along the lines of boosts and shards (maybe 1-5?) being randomly dropped on certain places in the map (in conquer mode) to give extra incentive to going towards random places and creating bigger strategy tradeoffs. Perhaps 1 thing could be dropped for every 10 regions in the map?

This is a strategy game and not an adventure game. Keep this clean please. This is fine without elements from other genres. That's why the first games were strategy games and why the genre is appreciated. We already have RPG objects elements like levels and bonuses. If this gonna be a strategy game element let people see where it is first as strategic point. If it's a surprise it's a adventure element. Also this would give unfair advantages to red and blue since they can place first and come close to bonuses. No, Rat, this IMO was one of your bad suggestions for once.

If it happens it should at least be optional. I don't think I'd really care for it though.

Just playing vortex wars one day...

First we'll just have little Easter eggs on the map, which will be fun and all, though shards will be earned faster and prices at the shop will probably inflate. After all, it's not like there's anything to stop a monopoly, there's not even any competition. And of course, noobs will throw their backs out, spreading themselves thin, just trying to get a few extra boosts or whatever. Later on, Lopdo will start introducing more stuff. And before you know it, we will be spending shards on vortex mana to summon monsters or trying to checkmate the king pieces and then someone will develop the VortexNuke and Vortex Wars will be gone forever.

That's a minus one by the way, the whole idea sounds like too much.

Idea wasn't actually meant to be based on an adventure game; this is a strategic consideration. Strategy games are about tradeoffs, and this adds another tradeoff, between the choice of doing what is strategically correct now or what will give you an advantage later. As for people seeing it first; that was the intention the whole time, I thought I made it very clear in my post that it was not a surprise. As for the red/blue advantage, that is a problem, but could easily be mostly alleviated by them appearing after the first.

Thank you, any ideas for improvement?

It would most definitely be an option.

I think the idea of a slippery slope is a bit ridiculous.

Not intending to make people pay $96/year for it.
