Ghost ''shroud'' race

This is a simple idea for a haloween race in terms of balance. I was toying with the idea of having a high number of troops would block more or less vision, but generally players usually reinforce borders before insides so that would have little point:

Race: Ghosts

Special ability description: a 'shroud' is formed behind your reinforced territories, limiting your opponents vision.

Actual ability: Your opponents can only see the number of troops on your borders.

Could be very nice for setting up traps, fooling your opponents into nests of 8's. This deception could really be used to mess with the opponent's head; you could have a border undefended and have nobody attack it out of fear.
I really, really REALLY like this idea, very fitting for Halloween.

Nice avatar by the way.

I like the idea a lot, but I think it would start down the route where it begins to have too much of a good thing.

Hehe thanks, I was thinking so too, but I think this ability would be reasonable because to make a whole secretive 8, you would have 7 troops that your opponents have no idea where they are, and they wouldn't be on your borders defending you, hiding an effective volume of troops isn't an easy thing.

Another use of the shroud on Borders would be to hide where they are randomly generated/ generated at another border: then it would test other players common sense and strategy ;)

And thanks, I love this avatar, I've also got a similiar electric one too that I'll use sometime, I love your avvy because it's my second favourite burst caster :)

would be nice but eventually everyone would figure the idea out and won't fall for the traps anymore

plus i think it's rather difficult to set up a trap when you are busy defending yourself

So basicly, enemies see your area as black area with numbered boarders. would there be "leaks" if for example there is empty area inside your surrounded area
