Ladder games
Posted: Sat Apr 14, 2012 4:52 amThis topic is not new, i guess. I think it would be very cool to have a ladder of players, of clans and even of races.
It would be nice to see how good or bad we are, and if we are getting better or not.
Exploring a little this idea any player when creating a game could flag it like a ladder game or not. If a ladder game, then only players with the same approximate skill would be allowed to enter the game.
In the end of the game, the AI would give/take points to the players who had played the game.
The approximate skill would have to be something not that large to be unfair for new player or to create great changes in the ladder, but also not that narrow that could make difficult to find players for the game.
A ladder of clans and of races would also be nice to increase the communities bonds.
