I have a few new race ideas that i think are pretty cool.
Barbarians
Story: Wild,savage creatures that are excited by war and become consumed in fighting.
Buffs: +10 attack that increases by 1% for each territory taken over. Cap is +15% attack and returns to 10% at the start of your turn.
Debuffs: -10% defense
Cost: 3000 shards or 150 coins
Peace-Keepers
Story: Highly trained military corps. dedicated to defending its people and country.
Buffs: +10% defense that increases by 1% for each successful defense. Cap is +15% defense and returns to 10% at the start of your turn.
Debuffs: -10% attack
Cost: 3000 shards or 150 coins
Dittos
Story: Amorphous blobs that can shape shift into their enemies and reproduce very quickly.
Buffs: Takes the form of the last race attacked and receives that race's buffs/debuffs for 1 turn, and +15% troop rate.
Debuffs: Depends on form taken
Cost: 4200 shards or 260 coins
Kongregaters
Story: Alone, the single kongregater is weak, but surrounded by its own kind will become a force to be reckoned with.
Buffs: Gains +10% attack and +10% defense if the territory is an 8.
Debuffs: Has a -10% attack and -10% defense if the territory is a 7 or lower.
Cost: I don't know. Maybe someone might have a good suggestion for this one.
This last one is kinda for fun.
Lopdo
Story: The greatest race know throughout the universe. Everyone and everything trembles before its might!
Buffs: +15% attack, +15% defense, +15% troop rate, +15% exp gain, +15% shard gain
Debuffs: None
Cost: Obviously I am joking around with this race, but if it had to cost something it would be 2000 coins

Imperials
Story: The corrupt, dominating force in the realm of vortex. They will stop at nothing to achieve total domination.
Buffs: When using an attack boost, if the attack fails twice, the defending force loses all but 1 unit no matter what.
Debuffs: None
Cost: 3200 shards or 160 coins
The Banished
Story: Once slaves to the Imperials, these strong fighters of justice lash back against their oppressors.
Buffs: When using a defense boost, if the defense fails twice, the attacking force loses all but 1 unit no matter what.
Debuffs: None
Cost: 3200 shards or 160 coins
Brotherhood
Story: A secret society with members from all walks of life. They band together to stop the chaos and bring about a new era of peace.
Buffs: +5% attack, +5% defense, +5% troop rate, +1 attack boost, +1 defense boost, +5 troop cap
Debuffs: 8's do not receive the +5% attack and defense boost
Cost: 5400 shards or 270 coins
Vipers
Story: Slithering serpents have risen up to destroy all who challenge them.
Buffs: Last player attacked receives a -5% defense penalty due to venom until next turn.
Debuffs: -5% defense.
Cost: 3000 shards or 150 coins
Drillers
Story: This technologically advanced race has made a deadly weapon that easily plows through opponents.
Buffs: If an attack succeeds, one unit from each enemy territory that touches the captured territory is lost unless their is only 1 unit.
Debuffs: None
Cost: 5000 shards or 250 coins
