Water

so I see lakes and oceans and sometimes paths across ocean areas, but not really water.
How about an option for Water, where any region touching the water can attack any other region that is touching the same body of water?

in my opinion it may be a beggining for making this game more complicated. why not just connect pieces with a land piece so they can attack each other

how would it make it more complicated? It is simple and straightforward. If you have 'Water' turned on as an option, then pieces that were formerly bordering a 'black area' would be connected as if touching. I think its pretty simple, but changes game play just enough to make you think twice. Its enough to make many maps reusable in a different way. How do you think it is complex and how would you make it more simplified?

Dude, water may be difficult, but I see where your coming from, Here why don't you make the "Lakes" land pieces but with small blank areas in between it so you can see that's not land.

Yoda races could use the force to lift XWings from it due to their experience teaching young jedis on dagobah

As i said before, a land piece could do what water does. this water feature would need more coding. plus then people will want mountains, forests, and all those stuff which i think makes the game fun (i play civilization revolution on the xbox sometimes) but it will make it less fun for beggineers as they wouldn't know all those stuff and what they do

its not the same as land, no one can own it or leave pieces on it, its like a border, in that it is very different
