When somebody surrenders, that ones armies is stil left, but grey.
SoI suggest an option to make all the grey areas in counqer-ode become like that ( note that it would be an option, you still can make it as it is now.

I don't plan to do anything like that. It would be much harder to expand in conquer mode, it would be much more about luck (losing 2v1 is quite common) and less about strategy (and I don't like that)
