Map (Auto) Categorizing & Map Editor in general

Ohai, I'll try to avoid wall of text.

Problem: Right after map editor being introduced there appeared loads of "strenge" maps. Some of them are fun, but when first what i see right after start is one big field that takes whole screen, and there more of those in every direction... I just rage quit. Navigation on such maps is almost impossible with current time limits or ANY time limits. Cause of that I've got some ideas for map editor and maps at all. (yes, my ideas are part of the problem :D)

Map Categorizing

First of all I would like to see what kind of map it is when i join a game. Atm we've got previevs that give us nothing. Extremaly big map with large felds would look like normal one on previev. Thats why there should be some addtional information. Some of them, most important for me:
- map REAL size, based on width/height, could be shown as S/M/L/XL/XXL/WTF
- regions average size, based on how many hexagons there are on the map divided by regions number. Could as well be XS/S/M/L/XL/XXL/NOWAY
- regions total count (would be nice to know that)
Those three could be easily done automaticaly. Also, there could be additional field when sending map, where author could label his map with one of predefined categories, like: "symetry", "duel", "equal chance", "art", "fun", etc.
It should be also possible to sort maps by those categories while creating new game. That would help to organize that mess. Every day we'll have more and more maps to choose from.

Map Moderation

"Report map" function! So players can report maps, that they think are "invalid", "driving crazy" or just plain stupid. There should be group of volunteer moderators with report access panel. They would be able to see all reported maps, with number of reports and option to previev map "in game". To avoid any abuse:
a) maps could be reported only by players with "premium" or rank high enough.
b) maps reported and assumed to be invalid by a moderator should not be deleted, but rather sheduled for deletation with 1 week of time where it still can be player with a warning, and later it should stay for 3 more weeks in database but not be playable (so author can comply).
c) player whos map got reported and sheduled for deletation should be notified at login
d) system of making maps "permanent" so they can not be reported anymore.

Map Editor

a) Ok, so now we're limited to 3 slots. So if i want to spam next, 90th silly map, i just create dummy acc and start my work. No, thats a flaw. Map editor should be ULOCKABLE for shards so you must put some effort to get it. That would prevent every single kid of doing loads of "exceptional" maps that drive many crazy.
b) Unlimited region size. Fine. Everyone likes to spend few seconds moving map from one end to the second of his teritory looking at enemies movement. Even better if you have to place units on 2 or 3 fronts. Perfect, right? No? I think so. So lets finaly limit it, but not width/height, as there are some good uses of long regions (like connectors) but rather number of hexagons they contain.
z) I know everyone needs cash, but Deluxe Editor for warcoins only? Look, better maps = more satisfied customers ready to invest some cash. We, players, can make maps to help you, sure. But do we realy have to pay for our job? x_x I always thought it works the other way around.

Additional Notes

I might put spomething here later i suppose

I plan to add aditional information to maps like region count and size, but I need to think what to about already existing maps, it is not that easy to add new information to already existing maps. New categories and filters are currently not possible

I am not sure deleting someone's map just because it sucks is good idea, that is what rating is for.

a) you need lvl 10 tu access map editor
b) interesting idea, might solve the problem
z) this won't change, game hardly supports itself as is and new maps mean huge increase in traffic which I need to pay for. I would be lucky if income from deluxe editor covers expenses from free maps. Anyway, you can make cool maps with 40 regions as well
Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
