Vortex Wars: Card and Dice Game

IDEAS:
•Special Race cards for winning so many rounds.

•Levels.

•Premium: To earn more shard cards more quickly/ Level up more quickly. (Possibly get you a "special" race card [Aliens])

•Badge ideas for Kongregate: (Promotes Game)

Easy (5 points): Collect 10 different race cards.

Medium (10 pts.): Win 5 matches.

Hard (15pts.): Collect all regular Card Packs (Includes Starter and Upgrade)

(Points are affiliated with kongregate users leveling up.)

•Additional "Special addition" Packs (Halloween, Christmas, Valintines, Easter)

•Card Limits: Set a limit on how many cards you can bring into a game. (8, 16, 32, etc.)

Your first 4 ideas wouldn't really work. You can't exactly put rewards for winning, levels, and premium like that in a physical game like this would be… and this wouldn't exactly be on Kongregate or have badges, once again because it wouldn't be an online game.

Special edition packs would be good; maybe card limits. Could always have card limits as house rules.

Even if it isn't online the game would still most likely be on kongregate, for VW is, plus online games on kongregate usually are the ones WITHOUT badges, such as the current VW. Again it would be promotion for the game, because they always place both NEW games, AND USUALLY games with NEW BADGES on the front page, Lopdo knows what I mean.

Also, what do you think about my earlier comment?:

You could place a little advertisment for the game in the starting screen (Menu) or possibly in the top left hand corner or something of the sorts.

I wasn't aware of them having games and badges on Kongregate that you can't play there. I was under the impression (and still am) that all the games on Kongregate are online games.

I'd thought the earlier comment was more towards Lopdo. But yes, sounds like a good diea.

Many games on kong are single player, but there will always be a chat box to your right unless you close it.

It just so happens that the Online, Multiplayer games are usually the more often played ones.

…you clearly don't understand what online game means. A single player game on the internet is still an online game. This game would not be an online game.

Fudge... I thought you ment "Online" as in that it was... nevermind, why the heck wouldn't it be online? That screws with the possibility of advertising VW (VW 2) on it.

Plus it costs a considerable amout to distribute these games, so are you proposing it be Downloadable? OMG, your talking about real life cards aren't you? I checked out the card creation site... So it will be like Yu-Gi-Oh and Poket Monsters?!

Yes, I'm talking about real life cards. You could still advertise it on VW, just have it link to the site where you can read about it and buy it.
