i dislike full map, when you are last there is a big chance you might be dead before even doing 1 turn!

Not really, yesterday I was last and could've won in a full map game. I agreed to a draw instead because it was an XXL map and could've taken hours.

I don't recall ever having this happen to me. In fact, I prefer going later in full map mode, as the opponents have had initial moves and watered down their property strength. Likewise, my win ration has improved dramatically since switching from conquer to full map, so there is data to back up the claims.

hmmm might give it a shot again, but for now conquer works fine for me

I've got 60%+ victory on conquer mod 8 players, so it's basically just skill.

And I also agree that full map emphasize the advantage of being first by a factor 10 :P

Back on topic. Is it at all likely that this idea will be considered? Experienced posters, is there anything to be done to make something like this more likely to happen?

I don't think this will be implemented... not saying this is a bad idea, but from my experience I don't think Lopdo would put this in.

It could be tried, some experiment already occurred.

But I think that the solution as it is not perfect, and is not viable if the "no spawn to another guy" rule is not implemented.

Even with that rule, it could be in some common situations (like if you can get to another player with a way out not touching the conflict border and he only has one way out) interesting to be very aggressive as soon as possible, and maybe shift the gameplay.
