Maps: Editing and Starting Positions

Postby chessmaster102 » Sun Aug 26, 2012 6:08 pm

I think that you should be able to edit your maps after posting them. You never really know how a map is going to work until you try it out and then once you do you can't edit it. You could make a new map that fixes the problem but then you run out of space to make more maps. I feel as if this would help a lot with some of the advantages with certain spots in the maps.

I also wouldn't mind seeing a new button in the map creation section that makes an area available to be a starting area. For example: As of now in the game any area on the map is a starting area. What if in the map creator you could make 8+ regions available to be a starting area. This would help with any maps that are like "8 Player Tournament". Then each player must start at the desired spot of the game creator.

These are some of the ideas I had, I hope you liked at least one of them :P

+ infinity

I'm sure people would make "whoever is red wins" maps, but we don't have to play those.
Why am I still skulking around here? That's a very good question.
