my firs Race idea is a hard to explain, but I'll try as good as I can.
Name: Trollface
Picture: The Trollface *klick*
Description: If you are attacking, either, with an attacking boost, or the defender has shield boost or both, and you are losing all attacks the one that lets your most untis alive counts. At the moment just the last one counts and can mess up your game. This works only for attrition and is useless in hardcore and 1on1 mode.
The same could be made for defenders that lose all defendings, the attack that kills the most enemy units counts. Adding both to the game would't work, because they contradict each other.
My second idea is for maps with lots of players:
Name: I have no idea yet
Pickture: Something with all eight colours
Description: you get 5% spawnbonus for every different player that borders you. That means in a 8-player-map up to 7 borders and 35% more units. I know that 35% is a lot, but if you have so many players at you borders the chance to get attacked is very high.
