Vortex Wars

This is the Sorting Hat Forum Game!

In this game you will be sorted into one of the Hogwarts houses.

Rules:

1) Any registered forum player may join the game by posting to this thread asking to be added as long as you have at least 25 forum posts prior to joining.
2) There are a maximum of 20 players allowed to play this game.
3) Any forum member may vote to sort up to five other players (one vote per other player), whether or not they are playing the game to be sorted themselves, as long as you have at least 25 forum posts prior to your vote(s).
4) When you have 5 votes placing you into any ONE house, you are now sorted and added to that house.
5) Other players may not agree on where you are sorted. You will be placed into the FIRST house where YOU have 5 votes into that house.
6) There are a maximum of 5 players placed into each house. When a house is full, no more players may be placed into that house.
7) The four houses are: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin.
8) When all 4 houses have 5 players sorted (total of 20 players) - the game is over.


ANYONE can vote to sort any of the Unsorted Players - EVERYONE (with at least 25 forum posts) can cast 5 votes. You may vote now for any unsorted player!

You are in!

Any registered player may now vote to sort you (as long as they have the minimum number of posts - just trying to keep out new trolls!)

So - as people vote for you, you will earn votes in whatever house they vote for you in until you have FIVE votes in a house.

Say that 2 people vote for you in Gryffindor, 3 in Hufflepuff, 4 in Ravenclaw, and 1 in Slytherin - You would have 10 votes and still not be sorted. But if one more then voted to put you in Ravenclaw - You would then have 5 votes for you in Ravenclaw and be placed there.

At some point 5 players will be in a house - let's say that 5 get placed into Gryffindor first - Then Gryffindor is not allowed any more players and anyone yet unplaced must land somewhere else. In the end we will have 5 players in each of the four houses. Everything will depend on you getting 5 votes into ONE house in order to be placed there.

I encourage you to make a case, beg, plead, etc. for votes into or to not go into a particular house if you wish. You might influence others to vote for you.

... My friends won't leave me alone about the fact I think I am a Ravenclaw or Gryffindor...
