Todays poem

I seek new ways.
I have to break this bad habit.
I don't have any delays.
It's not like am a hunted rabbit.

I will find a new theme.
To you all I have much respect.
I was stranded too along against the same stream.
Just let me know more of my flaws you detect.*

*Seriously. I mean that last sentence, I am not scared to be told what I am doing wrong.

I have so much to read.
How am I supposed to take it all in?
I got quite a lot indeed.
I don't even have one fin.

Every time I turn the page.
Guinea pigs doesn't like hugs.
Every author is like a sage.
Hopefully none of them bugs.

I found a bug.
I calm down.
I give our master a hug.
I mow his lawn.

I am now his slave.
He is playing with us like toys.

In my brain I feel I should make an incision

My head hurts from all this creativity
Because they are in for a drumming
and unfetter our eyes to infinity

Cate, how on earth do you do this day after day
