5 years on the Forum
Posted: Tue May 09, 2017 7:45 amI missed my 5th anniversary being on the Forum by two days, but after having been on the forum for over 5 years, I still have the 5th most posts. Also, despite not posting for probably a total of at least two years total if you add up all the days I have been off the forum, I still have an average of 2.63 posts per day.
Post counts aside, I have a lot of memories on here, and the lack of recent memories is sad. This game and community made such an impact on my life, seeing me through so of my best and worst years of life thus far (keeping in mind I turn 19 this August). I have been playing the game since I was 12! (And I am pretty sure I had most people thinking I was at least 16 until I actually was 16.) This community gave me a place to stay social despite my parents being restrictive of my social life. It gave me a place to experience conflict and compromise. It gave me a place to vent, have fun, chat, spill my heart out, and make unique friends on a very unique platform. I don't really have an anonymous online presence anywhere else. I don't visit any other forums. This place was my go-to for years. I checked the forums daily back in the day.
Anyway, the TL;DR version of what I am trying to say is thank you. Thank you Lopdo. Thank you everyone for making this a great experience that will stay with me for a lifetime. I only stop by every month or so nowadays, but I never forget.
