Make an illegal thread and turn it into sexual and abusive swearing and story telling. Its OK THE MIGHTY FANGFALLEN who has the reins will clear it all.

I actually haven't edited anything in the thread. I'm assuming Beatles went through and cleared profanity, which isn't a problem... Considering that's part of what a forum mod does... So I'm really struggling to understand your hangup with that.

Calm down, Highlander. You've been reporting almost every post you see and it's more humorous than it is legitimate because in every report you try to accuse me of favoritism or rulebreaking.

The rulebreaks on this thread have already been taken care off and those in violation informed. If it continues I'll issue forum bans based off severity and past ban history, and then I'll lock the thread.

So, what happened here was:

One player did violate the forum rules AND it was reported by another player as a violation.

To be clear, I absolutely have a tolerance for minor rule breaks and do NOT police every MINOR violation on the forum even if I see it.

But in this case the rule break was MORE THAN minor AND it was reported so I resolved it.

I clearly posted on the actual post what I did. In this case I highlighted in red what I corrected, I locked that post so it could not be altered by the original poster AND I issued an official forum account warning AND I sent the offending player a PM. You can disagree with me all that you wish, but before I made my decision I read the entire post word by word AND I also looked up the entire official warnings/bans on the forum for the reported player. It is really nobody's business, but this player had ZERO official forum warnings or bans so I made my decision to correct the post, PM the player AND issue him an official account warning (this allows all moderators/admins to see the history).

Then here is what I believe happened next. The reported player made another post and he also used red lettering making it appear that it was deleted by a moderator, which I did not do. So, in regards to that, I don't think he actually posted any new profanity and it was edited by a moderator. All that happened is that he made a joke and you thought it was deleted by a moderator.

Now, impersonating a moderator IS a big deal. I personally don't think he did that, but I am going to issue him a ONE DAY forum ban for the purpose of resolving anyone else's concern that he is getting away with impersonating a moderator.

Now, back to our regular programming.

Made sure it was clearly stated I put it there so nobody would be confused...
I was trying to make a joke out of me messing up and not censoring all my curse words which I had intended on doing...
I was NOT trying to impersonate a mod, and anyone who thought I did wasn't reading carefully enough...

I understand the ban though, and accepted it. It did seem kind of off color and may have been mistaken as me complaining about the prior warning...
It wasn't, but I understand how it could have been misconstrued into thinking that's what it was about...

 Sorry for any inconveniences, especially to any mods involved...

*My edits where to fix grammar in the post

Ok, new question. This doesn't really pertain to this year's election.

Do you like how the Electoral College currently works? If not, what would you change?

Curious to hear your opinions.

Finally someone who agrees with me! He's better than the remaining people; if Carson was still running, I'd take him! But Carson is gone and it's down to Clinton vs Trump; and Trump is better.

Bernie still exists. Besides, I find pleasure in knowing there are people with likable personalities despite political affiliation and ideology. I would rather like someone for who they are than who they support. I have several Trump supporting friends I like and several Bernie supporters I despise.

Now, as for the real topic of this thread (American Politics), I wouldn't call anyone's candidate a joke, Trump or otherwise. Some people are stupid and follow leaders blindly, but this thread is about policy. If you can't talk policy, maybe it's best to stay ignorantly quite than boastfully stupid. (I believe that is a paraphrase of a famous Lincoln quote.)

The electoral college frustrates me, but not nearly as much as our 2 party system. Much of American politics needs to be overturned and reinvented. I would totally recommend people watching CGPGrey's videos about voting on YouTube.

I believe Bernie is hanging by a thread. Because of the superdelegates, Hillary only needs something like 78 more delegates for the nomination, if I understood the article I read correctly.

I'm not a party guy, but most of my core values are enforced by the Republican candidates and this year is no different.

My thoughts on the electoral college are that it should represent the people's wishes more, and the politician's less. % of electoral votes from a state for a candidate should be the same % as popular vote for the same candidate in the same state.
