Anyway, Happy New Year everyone. I hope you all have a good year.
EDIT: And apparently it is also Techgump's 102nd birthday today. Happy birthday.

My resolution is to be more devoted to this game. Maybe I'll try to fill in that hexagon by June?
(I've been thinking recently, wouldn't it make more sense to put the new year at the Vernal Equinox instead of a random day in the middle of Winter? We could make that March 1st and order out the days and months from there. The first day of Summer would be the Summer Solstice, Autumn the Autumnal Equinox, and Winter the Winter Soltice? The first of the first month associated with that season would be that date, so the SS would be June 1st, the AE would be September 1st, and WS would be December 1st. The last day of the year would be the end of February. As for the length of each month, they would just be a third of the days of the season decided evenly with extra days being thrown in for thirty-one whenever needed. It would take a bit of converting to get our holidays reassigned, but that could be done by a relatively simple computer program and it would be more than worth it)

I hardly think it would be more than worth it. The costs to convert all our computer systems to this new calendar would easily outweigh the practically negligible benefit of having a calendar based on the seasons.

Yes, but it annoys me. All worth it to make me feel better.
