I'm bad at computers but I know a good friend who is good enough on computers that isn't on the forum, want me to ask him for advice?

One person can say "Dis one da bomb, buy it!" and turns out to not be good.
Kinda like how someone told me to get Mcafee anti virus and it actually sucked...
When I got a new Anti Virus, It picked up a TON of viruses and stuff that my last one didn't find.

My friend is gonna come on later tonight so yea... can't help atm sorry.

Ratburn has been very helpful and I trust his advice. I know what I'm going to buy now. I'm open to hearing what your friend has to say though.
And yes.. Mcafee is awful!
