When did those matches comeback?

I am curios, hen did they started matches come back? Was it in the last update? I've noticed it before now, but never thought to ask. Is it a bug?

it's not a bug, it is dirty hack 
I wanted to make sure that first page is always full, so I threw in few started games. Not all of them, just few
