These days it feels like I'm being dragged by one foot down a red carpet by the much larger ghost of the humor I used to have time to think through. It's an eternal red carpet going nowhere, mind you, and it's not as if anyone's watching in the mean time, but it's still quite a bit more comfortable to be upright. My left foot is sore.
So I suppose it's the me of the past or bust, the latter resulting in more rug burn and the former resulting in a needless extension to a metaphor that was bad to begin with.
So let's give a hearty sort of cheer, roll your eyes, and step away while I embarrass myself. It'll be sort of like a first class train that flipped off a cliff, landed catwise and then decided to test its luck by going around again. You won't be able to take your eyes off either, it's horrible but that curious part of you just has to watch. And probably get a video of the passengers screaming as well.
And now back to stupid metaphors.
I honestly don't remember why I decided to type everything in blue.
