The video argument is talking about had they kept the word shell shocked they may have gotten better medical help. The M word has a history of being a way to refer to little people as "Circus Freaks" making people pay admission to see such things as many people considered them deformed humans. If you can't see the difference then by all means refer to little people with the SAME means of slave owners did to sell admission to there circus! Yes many little people and other people that suffering from disfiguration were kept in cages and treated like animals/slaves. It's one thing to allow such language on your forums but it's another to encourage it by defending and placeing blame on the person who is trying to educate you and others on the correct term that should be used!

First, the video was not just about that, it was about the softening of language in general and how stupid it is. And the person saying it was doing it as comedy, which means that he was more or less realigning jokes, a concept which you cannot handle. I'm not really going to criticize you for not watching though because it really wasn't posted for your sake anyway.

Second, when the moderator himself has to come and tell you to shut up, it might be time to realize we actually do understand enough English that we don't need the word midget explained to us. This is another perfectly good conversation that has gone downhill because you decided to show up and be yourself.

no this is an example of your reaction and going overboard insulting me when I an just trying to educate about the offensiveness of that word! I can see clearly you don't care and that fine I am talking to everybody else who just might care about enough that they are insulting little people by using that term. If they don't give a shit about insulting little people then go ahead insult them and crack joke at there expense! At least I shared the information that using that word is offensive and degrading to many people.
