Think of it like this.. An ip is like a name for your computer that only your computer has, kind of like how guns have a serial number in them.

More of like a ticket you get at a delicatessen with a number to call you to pick up the meat by.

Do not conduct an IP search for a forum vote unless there is a specific allegation that is being made.

There is no rule against having more than one forum account/username.

If there is please notify us so that many can stop breaking the rules.

Now - in the game is a different story. If you are on the same IP - you should never be allowed to use that to secret ally, cheat, build rating, play on the same map together, etc. I also have seen members post that they have their "brand name" higher level account, and also like to play (never at the same time) with a lower level account. This is also not against the rules.

And stop wondering who else I am - you don't need to know.

If there is any suspicion of that - I would fully support an IP check to verify.

I was referring to having more than one name for example. Royalblue has stated several times that he is a "low level" and is also someone else under a "higher level" account. If for example Royalblue voted (in his Royalblue fashion) and has another account called Imabigun and voted there as well in the poll - I am okay with that.

If there is an accusation that someone deliberately skewed the polls to change the outcome - that might be worth reporting.

For example only - if I made another account "ThatsMyKid" and then voted in my category - that is a violation and should result in a sanction - and I would never do such a thing. If however, Royal is two accounts and he "votes the way each of those characters would" then I am okay with that. I do not consider that cheating.
