I don't see BF....

I am not even sure where I am at. I looked at the islands nearby and don't recognize any names from Vortex Wars.

I am also not sure what I am doing. So far I am just accepting the tasks and completing them. I have no idea how to fight, build armies, or go anywhere outside of my city. It seems that I have to complete a certain number of tasks first in order to do what you guys are doing. One of the things I clicked on said that I had some protection while I am new - that others could not "spy" on me yet as I am too weak. Perhaps that is why you can't see me yet.

I think Autumnwolf can probably see me because I joined using his link.

EDIT: Here is the screenshot of the beginner's protection. It also says I have 4 days left on the protection.
