Essentially we have ones huge three month break from somewhere in mid June to early September, most of the USA has summer break approximately like that. In many cases, any other breaks over the year are much shorter because summer break is meant to play thee role of dividing each year of school.

the worst homework I got from school is
Listen to your fave song and find a couplet and write down the stanza (aka poetry stuff)

NZ schools are the funniest
US schools are the worst that I could possibly get sent to (that is a english country, I don't care in south Korea you go 2 2-3 schools per a day and 1 of them is a full 4 hours of hard out maths)

In my school we got a homework for every lesson in the day..

52 weeks a year..

5 days a week..

4 lessons a day..

1 homework a lesson..

..

..And I hardly did any of them.. Explains my detention record :3

I can say allot of reasons why NZ schools are funnier and stuff, class clowns get away, free fish and chips/ pizza, get to see the movies for free, free time (not work, you going on the PC playing Vortexwars or skyrim ) or stuff.

but the list is way to huge, so just take my word for it.
also the teachers are way cooler
