The thing about good auto-correct is that it doesn't do that. Also good auto-correct learns as you type. One of my favorite words to say is "Oi" which I use instead of saying "sighs" or I use when I'm angry at someone, or simply trying to get there attention. Anyways, the first few times I would write "Oi" It would autocorrect to "ok". My point is if you pay attention to what your typing even though you have autocorrect you will never have that problem. Oh and by the way, now it doesn't autocorrect my "Oi".

Meanwhile, my tablet autocorrect automatically doubles words it hasn't seen before. So when I type Autumnwolf17, it becomes Autumnwolf17Autumnwolf17 because the autocorrect is just brilliant.

That's because your tablet is crap. My auto-correct is so smart it can guess what word I'm writing before I finish it and if I choose to use that word I just have to press the space-bar. Also, it will auto-correct things like "its" to "it's"

Oi is also one of my favourite words. And I spell things such as honour the British way, and auotcorrect bugs me about it all the time. (I do not however spell meter as metre.)
