No, Brits don't suck, only their government- and even that not nearly as much as the American one.

I like parts of America better. And, whatever you say, I prefer American accents (or lack thereof).

It is ridiculous to say that Americans don't have accents.

Some do, many do, but some have very flat speech without much accent.

Otherwise, news reporters, some movie and television stars.

For where I live, I have a very strange accent. My accent is often described as a mix of Cockney and "Canadian."
This may be because I use many English and French pronunciations, and I annunciate my words.

No, I just know what I'm talking about. I'm not going to waste three years of University. Besides, you can be extremely arrogant at times, too.

Actually (this is off of memory, there's a chance it may be wrong) we got Texas before that war- after that war we got the Mexican Cession (although we still paid for it as well, although obviously not enough). Later we got the Gadsden purchase without a war so we could build railroads there.

And as what would probably be considered a very unpatriotic American, no offence taken.

To Google..!

..Damn, the Mexican-American War was because you took Texas. So close.

I'm working on that. I get defensive over my pack and post count, you get defensive over your country and how it compares to others. :D

It doesn't compare to others, because it's so awe- AMAZING!

I tried starting both, but I couldn't get a good list for either. :(
