If you do pick a sport - ofc has to be something that interests you. If it helps at all - my experience with Half Marathons is that about 60 to 70 percent of the runners in Halfs are female.

Haha I must say I never thought of that but yes, that somewhat helps! I have been thinking are there ways to just meet strangers, and maybe that could be a way. In general I'm a shy guy so I have trouble making first impressions with people, but I can get on with them like a house of fire when that parts over
