I have a degree in Marketing, so I have taken alot of business maths and statistic courses. But that's not the fun math

Algebra and abstract algebra are REALLY different… If you suck at math I really doubt you know abstract algebra. Also, as to your later post, quantum mechanics is a field of physics, not math, although it certainly involves quite a bit of mathematics.
