Sometimes, I'm just walking down the street, look to the sky, and I realize that I need to know
\bold{v}_1 \bot \cdot\bold{v}_2 = \left | \bold{v}_1 \times \bold{v}_2 \right | = \left | \bold{v}_1 \right | \left | \bold{v}_2 \right | \sin\theta

Huh, looks like this forum doesn't accept that sort of stuff. Now things are weird. ;)

I have a degree in Marketing, so I have taken alot of business maths and statistic courses. But that's not the fun math :P

I selected Algebra and Abstract Algebra, although I don't know much of it myself :)

I never thought I'd say this to you, but I think you missed the point.

Hmmm... I just explained the highest level of math I have taken & how much I like math. I thought that was the question :P

And I like algebra (even though I'm not very smart at it). I watch lots of documentaries on math, specifically algebra. But I do also like quantum mechanics as well, but that wasn't an option :P

I dunno maybe I did miss the point... I usually do in math conversations :)

You're supposed to say vote on whether you like or don't like math, and then say what the highest level of math you have learned is.

(Give me a minute to dig up my math book edit it in a sec.)
EDIT: 69x + 21y=210.5
X= potato
Y= Tomato
How much dose a potato cost?
(if the cost of a tomato is out ragious sorry i made this up in my head solve it i wount :P)

You would need a little more info to solve that for a definite price.

That's (at least in the US) usually in late high school or early college.

Algebra and abstract algebra are REALLY different… If you suck at math I really doubt you know abstract algebra. Also, as to your later post, quantum mechanics is a field of physics, not math, although it certainly involves quite a bit of mathematics.

When you're an engineer, a physicist, theoretical computer scientist, or many other things.

Clearly, because you have two variables and one equation. That's called a line.

Simple:

69X + 21Y = 210.5

69X = 210.5 - 21Y

X = (210.5 - 21Y) / 69

X = Cost of a Potato

Potatoes are sold in a 5 pound bag

Each potato weighs on average 6.5 ounces

There are 16 ounces in a pound

The average growing time for potatoes is 7 weeks

All you need to do to get the answer is hand the grocer a $10 bill, count your change - and the difference is the cost of the potatoes, presuming you did not buy anything else and there is no tax.

Dude, don't be one of those guys... It is not about when and how you can use integrals, it is all about how learning and knowing math (or any scientific field) affects your brain and ability to solve (everyday) problems.

and here we can see what is wrong with USA :)
