Opinions on who could be a good unifying clan leader.

Postby necrocat219 » Tue Sep 10, 2013 7:18 pm

Okay, here are my brutally truthful observations and opinions of most persons suggested for an upper role so far; I pride myself on being honest and transparent so don't get hissy and pissy with me, this is how you come across and if you disagree with me, I'm sorry. Remember they are opinions, and they can change easily, and what I say doesn't mean I dislike you. Take it with a pinch of salt, think how your strengths are bigger than your weaknesses, and such. And sorry if I am brief. I will also use examples of past times just to showcase each individual, don't get angry I'm using them. Also biases about me, I really would love to be leader of this new clan, as you can see by my attempted setup, and I can waver at times from the game.

If you have anything you feel like contributing, I can add them as 'said by so and so player' to give a better idea of each person.

Autumnwolf17
A nice natured character that is a leader, is friendly and voices his opinions very often. Very dedicated to making his clan how he wants it to be and to the members of those clans, and likes to give everyone a chance, although sometimes makes mistakes. Can sometimes get more fixated on clan rivalries, and gets paranoid easily, and in those periods can sometimes fail to control how they post on the forum, which is a negative trait. Can form grudges in an instant. One of my personal inspirations so I may be biased.

Highlander
One of the veteran players on the forum, has shown he is serious at the game and is a good player. Has lots of leadership experience. Doesn't judge players on their face value but on how they are. However can be quick to lose his temper which can bring the worst out of the players he talks to. It must be noted that he disappeared for a week with a notice seeming he had left, causing disarray in the clan, which is a negative trait (Although there were medical reasons). One of my personal inspirations so I may be biased.

Drone6o3
A nice natured character that has leadership experience, is very friendly and outgoing, and doesn't form negative oppinions on other people (As far as I know). Seems unbiased, which is good. Very dedicated to making his clan how he wants it to be and to the members of those clans. From his opinions he has voiced recently it seems he has a lack of understanding of the past 1.5 years of VW which could be a problem. Seems to have mood-swings, which from my past observations of clans can have catastrophic effects on the clan as a whole.

Fangfallen

Good in game. Note that he has organised many tournaments so far and done so well, which could show he could organize a clan well if he became leader. Is friendly and seems to be fairly unbiased which is good. Got very distressed when Royalblue pretended to be Beatlesfan which could be a negative trait, and used to spam a lot on the first month on the forum, but has become less so recently. Still obsessed with post count. My personal favorite for leader.

Tensegravz
Has shown that he is a phenomenal and extremely competitive player by through in game observations and winning all gotcha! games so far. Enthusiastic person at first sight. Bought dragons so dedicated to VW. Cannot say much more as not many encounters.

Chess435
A nice natured character that is a leader, is friendly and outgoing. Has many forum relations outside of Vortex Wars and has moderator duties also, so may be unsuited to being the leader. Also was absent for a year, and so missed a large chunk of time, but the forums improved significantly on his return, which is a positive traits. Tickles my personal fancies, so opinion may be biased.

Ryankill
Is leader of the Military Soldiers. Has shown that he is a very good and an extremely competitive player, although gives leeway for fair games, which is a positive trait. In terms of forum activity having him around often makes things more interesting. However he sometimes appears to not trust his clan members ability and comes across like a dictator. Bought dragons so dedicated to VW.

MONGOOSE
Is awesome. Honestly, I genuinely don't know enough about you, sorry  can someone else who knows you better write this segment please? Thanks.

Ozserf Has shown that he is a phenomenal player, and has organised many events on the forum, and has been the leader of a clan. Would be my choice for leader. Started Gotcha. Bought dragons so dedicated to VW. One of my personal inspirations so I may be biased.

RoyalBlue
Makes many posts to various clans and members with advice that have made improvements around the forum, a positive trait. Has a tendency to wright in blue to attract attention. Personally I think that he is dubious and the way he entered the forum throwing his weight around, even when his opinion was wrong have left a bad impression on me, so may be biased.

Vortex_Master
A nice natured character that has leadership experience, is very friendly and outgoing, and doesn't form negative opinions on other people (As far as I know). Flickered back and forth from the game. Seems unbiased, which is good. Very dedicated to making his clan how he wants it to be and to the members of those clans. Unfortunately gets paranoid easily, and in those periods can sometimes fail to control how they post on the forum, which is a negative trait, and has periods of time where he seems mentally unstable, although understandable considering half his clan ditched him.

Karen219 Moderator and bought dragons so dedicated to VW. Has recently become a leader of Knights. Seems knowlegable and gives advice suited to the individual. However has a lack of activity on the forum and leadership wouldn't be good for this.

Chris1726354
Has shown that he is a great and extremely competitive player by through in game observations. Seems to be a very nice guy who always wants to chat, and has contributed a nice amount to clan wars with his rules. Only being here half a year could unfortunately count against him.

Ratburntro44
Has leadership experience. Makes intelligent conversation and contributes well, as well as being good at the game and organised. Bought dragons so dedicated to VW. However is a dubious person (and admitted it) and is known for spying a lot. Can't say any more as I haven't encountered in chat enough.

>(FM)<
Has leadership experience, although gave up and joined WC. Is a nice natured character that I personally like to see around the forum posting. Has organised Gotcha before and Is a When asking and being considered for being a moderator of a chat room, the reasons given were because it is cool and to kick a player from the room, which is a negative trait.

Lopdo
Made VW. Generally gives off the impression of disorganization and making updates that are more motivated around prettyness of the game rather than actual game-play improvements. (The only outright person I would say 'never' about, I don't think it would feel right.)

Guest77 A newcomer to the game. Has shown that he is a phenomenal player by getting into the top10 list, has great logical deduction and makes well informed decisions and judgement. Bought dragons so dedicated to VW.

Aboad
A fairly nice guy. Has leadership experience, although takes all his orders from Ratburntro. Grammar and punctuation are lacking, and a smooth trail of thought are not evident.

Uknown
Personality seems nice, and pretty motivated in sticking to his clan theme, whilst being friendly and outgoing. Unfortunately due tothe nature of his account and clan, can only be put as dubious and unsuitable as clan leader.

._. I can control my mood swings...
I just haven't been sleeping lately and will get them under control ASAP...
Sorry >_<

Thank you for the advise, I will put them under consideration and fix them as needed.

:) I am just a little on edge as I feel powerless about Rat wanting to leave O.o that is all...
So sorry :(

Just being realistic, it's a personal thing for you, but it would affect clan management so it has to be mentioned. No need to be sorry to me, I think you're a really nice guy like I said :) also you just need to let people go, when someone leaves, they take their past experiences and use them for greater things wherever they go.

With no reference to myself, my top five would be:

BeatlesFan
Fangfallen
Royalblue
Vortex_Master
Fangfallen

They're really pretty close in my mind, so don't think too much on the order. I also think that Highlander would be a great choice, and Mongoose would be too, for the most part.
