Hi all

So I have just been banned for telling Highlander who had sneaked in my game as a guest to f**k off. Just after an honest opinion of whether you think this is fair and valid?

I feel I have explained my actions is a fair and factual manner and would be interested to hear your thoughts?

I know you are asking the community and not me, but here are my actions because I banned you.

You both posted screenshots of the other using profanity.

You directly told him to F*** Off after both were baiting each other.

Prior to giving any bans I checked for prior sanctions on both accounts

I gave the Highlander account a 30 day ban

I gave the Keltic Warrior account a 5 day ban

Based on no prior account sanctions for you I gave you a 1 day ban, yet you did the same thing

You are free to both stop the profanity and baiting and ALSO to come back with that account tomorrow.

I stand by my decision.

I see no issue with Beatles decision. I personally would have hopped straight to a week ban. That's just me though.

I still don't agree with your decision but there's nothing more I can do. Think its time for me to take some time off from this game.

Am I the only one here that sees childish bickering on all sides?

Let's take a step back shall we?

We live in a miniscule world in an infinitely massive universe. In said world we as a Humanity are striving against starvation, inequality, crime, governmental oppression, and for many, just supporting our families is hard enough. Yet, you are all bickering over these tiny slights on the blot that is your username on a vague and mostly unrepresented URL in the corners of the Internet?

Okay, zooming back in now. He said she said, so what? If you don't like it - Mute him. That goes for all of you, not just you Bulldog, or Highlander. I've said this before, both on the forums and in-game. If it bothers, offends, or angers you... KICK - MUTE - IGNORE - LOG OUT.

The thing causing the biggest most blatant problem in this game and in any, is ignorant, so called 'trolls' trying to satisfy themselves by bothering others.

So yes, a week. It's really not much time. 24 hours? That's hardly a slap on the wrist, especially considering you can simply make another account, or use a guest account, and do the exact same stuff you already do with hardly a difference in the effectiveness of your game play.

May as well.lock or delete this now. Funny how both mods had posted within 10 mins to shoot me down. The thread never really had a fair chance after that.

Any way life goes on so today I treated myself to a PS4 to keep me off Vortex Wars. Think its a good job as with this new profanity banning rule in place, I would of been constantly getting banned! Mods are going to be busy banning every single player who swears!!!
