The format of this hotline exists to help new players learn more about the game and to have a great discussion about all things related to VW! Enjoy the hotline and don't forget to call in because your opinion is the only opinion that matters to everyone and everything that is you!

This weeks topic is about Strategy for game playing... for example do you hit your opponents hard or do you defend while everyone else is trying to expand and kill each other off in game?

Ok I would like to call in...

My question is this. What do you think is the best way to win a game attack now or later? when it is a big map with 6or more players!? any advice to a newbe? Also how do you know that lady gaga uses this hotline is that false advertisement?

Welcome to the forum Mr. (L).

I hope that you have fun and that the community is both more active and better off as a result.

As for strategy -

Watch and learn in the game.
Don't try to attack the whole map at once.
Take a chance, but a calculated/measured one.
Know when to stop - sometimes a great turn is ruined by taking just one more space/attempting a failed attack.
Know the various modes of new troops placement or you may be in for a big surprise.
Know what upgrades you have and don't join a map where your lack of them will be fatal.
Do not ally unless everyone is on notice beforehand/ before the map starts.
Finally - always act in your own best interest in heading toward FIRST place.
