Well, there's the fact that the poster is Ozserf to support the joke argument, as we all know his whole life is a joke.

The biggest April Fool's joke of all time is that it actually is April 1st...maybe?

So we've lost elves,Techgump,Lopdo,attackbomb,cgb,and ozserf....

Your post plus the following by Lopdo on his "Ask Lopdo" thread make me realize that this game is coming to an end sooner than I would like.

Yes, the will come when I will not work on VW anymore and I will not even plan to do so. Every online game dies in time and when that time comes, I will move on. And I think that answers second question as well I will not play online game that nobody else plays
