You get them for rating games and playing stuff. Like of you chat about a game you get a certain amount.

In other words, they have no real correlation to the game and can't possibly be transferred anyway.

I see, so they are not used for in-game purchases in other games, right?

I've never seen them used for any game, and I've played quite a few on that site. All they do is denote a certain rank on armorgames and then people can see that you are a respected member of the site. Then they might try playing games you played and listen to your opinions and hints. But no, the most you get on a game from them, unless I'm very wrong, is some respect from other players who might know you.

we have something similair called kongregate points to level up on kong. And theres no benefit in leeling up there.

Statistically a good game will have at maximum 3% of players on a free game pay for stuff ingame, with it usually being 1%
