I know this isn't an immediately important question, but it is one that I both wonder about and have no feasible way to test without cooperation.
Anyway, let's think about a hypothetical situation in which the final two players of a game are enemies. It is a large map with a choke point or two between them. Logically, there is very little to be done. However, neither one is capable of drawing, either from arrogance or a bug. At a certain point, both decide to give up, but don't tell the other. Right after player one's turn, they both press the surrender button. What happens?
Now, before you tell me there is no way this could be timed correctly, even if they did know, I can tell you I've been measuring the time it takes for the game to end after you confirm surrender and it is about one second to two most of the time. But no one has wanted to test it with me yet, so I have to ask here. If anyone knows, please answer.
