Why we should play without alliances

Postby Gothic » Sat May 12, 2012 12:14 pm

"IDIOTISM
-why are you trying to win?
-to get xp and shards...
-For what do you need them?
-to level up and buy some stuff, like upgrades and races...
-and for what do you need these stuff?
-to win some other rounds.
-why do you want to win some other rounds?
-to get more xp and shards..."

:?: :!:

Have a fun
This is the only rational reason why we are playing games and no game would be fun without challenges and obstacles.
When you make alliance you reduce game's difficulty so you are not able to have as much fun as you could.

Another hand, people don't like game where they don't have chance to win. Such games are annoying.
If you make alliance, other players have no more chance to win. so you ruin other's game too.

If you make alliance for shards and for this you are ready for drew at the end, you can make lobby for two and start playing there with your ally. conquer and then let your ally take the same region and do it again and again, after 2hours press drew button and you will have much xp and shards... you ally-maker NOOB!!!

STOP RUINING OUR FUN :!: :!: :!:

P.S. help me to improve this topic

I am pretty sure that if you draw, both get less XP than if neither draw.

i know there's more xp for 1st than for drew, but players "pay" the difference to be sure they win.

Just wanted to add a few points:

1) Drawing doesn't take 2 hours once all of the territories in the map are occupied. I guess you were being cynical. ;)

2) There are definitely pathetic alliances that make it a no-brainer for the allied party to win. However, unfortunately, in this game, when you are spawned at the bottom 3-4 and it's a small map that can't hold 8 people in the first place (and let's face it - most of the maps are like this), then making an alliance is a good way to survive your initial misfortune.

Alliance is always good way to "survive." than why don't you make 4way alliance to win round more easier?! Being 5th-8th is one of the challenges, how good are you at fighting with smaller army, using "political" situation on the map, choosing enemy and environment (I'm pretty sure you don't calculate beginning moves during 1vs1 fight    )

Also sometimes we meet hidden alliances, when two players are in alliance without saying that they are. It's difficult to discover them because there is strategy when you don't attack your neighbors at the beginning to expand faster.

That I hate indeed.

As for your previous post - I kind of agree. It makes the game even more risky and nervous, which is cool yet scary at the same time. You have to know that other people may be as scared as you and don't know what you might do (especially new players), so having zero communication makes these kinds of situations more tense than when you declare your intentions in the first place.

After all, politics is a part of human nature... :)

lol, thats the worst thing
I don't know what to do. at least when I make room with name "no allies", no one should make it there.
Is drew included in won rounds?
