I never said that... I actually like Chess more than Tech, my point is we need 2 active mods at all times MINIMUM.. Preferably 3.

To be totally honest, 1.5 would easily be good. Three is overkill.

My opinion is that the forum does need two mods.
I agree with the prior post by Chess that this forum is "well behaved" enough where one if fine - however, one Mod needs days off, sleep, vacation, etc. When one Mod is off - you have no Mod. That is why two are required to do the job of one.
I also suggest that with a second Mod - some of the "organization" tasks for the forum could then take place: What to sticky, lock old threads so they don't "accidently" reappear, some revised structure to the main page, etc.
And if Techgump comes back on a regular basis, we are okay with what we have.
