Lopdo said in the new update: you can stay in game after it ends to chat with other players.

you could already do this...
if you die and get third you can stay in the game and chat still.
unless hes talking about after someone takes first place and everyone is dead...
in which case you could still stay in the game and chat.
so....

You dying ≠ Game ending

And Lopdo doesn't count pressing enter to chat to people with the window messing your view up as after-game chatting.

Before 1.9, you could not stay in the game after the game ended. Once all players were defeated, you were sent to the lobby. Now you can stay and chat after everyone is dead.
