Vortex Wars

Many people have named themselves techgump and tried to impersonate techgump, I have noticed. Clearly they all fail, but I think you should prevent creation of usernames that have the username of someone on the leaderboards in them.

That one would be hard to enforce but I suppose it is possible. Perhaps there is some other way...

what is someone registers name "a" and then gets to leaderboard?

make it only in effect if they have a username of at least a certain length

Trickery is part of any game like this. Granted, it should be a quick check. There are only a few people above level 35, and techgump is level 45. Also I would imagine a high profile name, similar to a high level, would just make you a target ingame.

I know it's easy to figure out, but some people don't realize this. Blatant attempts at trickery like this should not be part of the game.
