sorry this post is venting

im 60 shards away from arachnids and ive been on an epic win streak
ive almost gotten to half as many wins as i have matches played

but every single time i get big in these large maps everyone starts bailing before i can grind for shards

out of the last 4 8 player games ive won ive managed to get like 10-20 shards each roughly

its killing me trying to progress here

Try playing Full map mode. U can earn much more shards this way.

Play with level 20+ people because they're less likely to surrender when they're losing as they have more understanding of how the game works and know even if they're losing, games can change pretty quickly and they can find themselves in a winning position. Also some of the higher level players will stick it out to the end when they're losing so the winning player can get shards

I stay in games where I am losing so I can get more shards. I usually just start attacking/claiming as much as I can before I die.

same here...though I once won doing this...lol
