so i finally played enough games to get both the +10 slot upgrade
and insectoids
totalling in 4k shards

THERE IS NOT A GOD DAMN THING DIFFERENT
my max capactiy is still 20

my opening moves still have the same number of unit development
basically im not seeing any increase in units on the field at any freaking point in any of my games
and i usually play the XXL maps

come on, these were the EXPENSIVE upgrades
both demon and angels are cheaper and i have freaking seen a SIGNIFICANT difference in their games

i was going to buy premium so i could get the other races and shoot for the 2nd upgrade
but now that i see its pointless i aint gonna waste my money on this shit
instead ill just save up yet again and get demons then probably have no need for anything else

i just think its a real jackass move to make things so costly only to have them be so epically worthless
i feel sorry for anyone that did waste their money to get it

First of all, try logging out and logging back in (as mentioned several several times in the forum) before you flip out.

Second, depending on the games you play, the person that set-up the game may have turned BONUSES OFF. If you want to use your bonuses, make sure you play bonus enabled games. This is more likely your problem.

A little research on the forum and educating yourself on the game options would prevent yourself from looking like a complete ass.

1) Read the descriptions - Upgrade gives you +10 storage, this means that you need 21 regions before you see anything. Insectiods gives 10% bonus, this means you need 10 regions to see anything. But if you get 20 with Insectiods with Upgrade you should get 23 men.

2) There is a "DISABLE UPGRADES" option for games. It looks like this: You can also tell it's active if there are NO BOOSTS in your game. Now since 70% or more of the games are using this, the odds are good you were in one, and if you were in one... surprise... your upgrades are disabled.

3) Expensive means "costs a lot" since you stated

I can safely assume that you haven't paid a thing, so they were not, for you, expensive.

4) Angels and Demons don't have any more significant a difference than this, (mathematically it only matters 1 in 20 attacks) but it SEEMS more so. I've been eyeballing numbers trying to determine how combat works, and I can assure you that it's not much more than 5%.

Finally, and it pains me to say it: try refreshing. For some reason 90% of the problems we see vanish when you refresh your flash session.

Yeah, next time you should do you're research before coming to these forums and looking like a jerk.
