Well, I happen to be a part of the coolest *unofficial* clan in all of VW, and we already figured out the best way to talk without letting everyone else see what we're saying...Kongregate chat, For the win! This might not help those of you who play on vortexwars.com, armorgames.com, or whatever other site might host this most wonderful of games. When y'all do get your clans figured out though, let me know, always looking for a good 3v3 or 4v4 ^.^

I think there should just a setting Teams On/Off.
It wouldn't be to much coding to add, and i know lopdo said no teams, but he can't keep it from happening on normal games if he doesn't make a setting in. So Teams, FFA, Co-op VS AI.

The Co-op is after Lopdo becomes rich enough to make the AI programming

a lot of games already have annoying secret alliances. I think clans could counter this and make the game more fun with clan fights
