As to your ban if contact is made between any of us three... why between myself and awesome? We have no problem with each other (at least not from my end), and he has not vocalized any issue that he has with me. Why then can we not have contact?

Not between you and Awesome400... You and Awesome400 may comm as you wish.

I think you're a smart enough guy to figure out that what you have done here is antagonistic and in my opinion, harassment (which is detailed in part under Language (third to last and last points) of the VW rulebook) in the form of bullying and trolling. If you (who I do not know, is not my friend, and I am not directing my attention to) approached me like this in any other public place (not in the safety of your room behind a computer), you could expect a much more unpleasant response than just a few bad words.

So, too my point, you and Awesome400 should avoid comm with Highlander (because obviously he does not want to talk to you) and Highlander avoid comm with you and Awesome400. If not, I will consider this continued harassment, and I will take action. It is an easy and appropriate solution to a problem that has already gone on too long and had too much effort put into it on all sides.

I ask techgump to forgive me if i break any rules by somehow "minimodding" or such.

I am not a mod. Nor am i that great of a user to this community ( that whole update spaz attack from me was unacceptable). This is simply my advice and I will delete this if a mod thinks I should

This is actually pretty much what techgump is saying but in my own words. But seriously, Its a part of life for people to cuss and swear at you. I don't mean to defend Highlander, but Sword, if you cant take that kind of swearing then Ill feel sorry for you when you get a job and grow up. So Sword I agree you have the full rights to report highlander, however the fact that you seem to have a ton of interaction with highlander is very suspicious. After that first interaction with highlander you should have just totally ignored highlander. When you grow up you won't be able to "report" every mean person. Its a part of life.

AS for Highlander, I think you ere pushed so i feel for yah, but maybe you could kinda tone it down. not trying to be like those jerk guys who wants to lead everyone but yah
sorry If i minnimodded too much and ill prolly edit or delete this post later since I feel I acted too much like a mod.

Hi Admin,

I would like to report a very abusive user i was just in a game with. His user name is "kalebcole11".

After being attacked he started calling players "gay" "faggots" and how " I (gay) will go to hell" and even after losing he stayed in the game to abuse me and other users. Several i suspect resigned just to stop listening to him.

I unfortunately didn't get a screen shot as you suggest (i didn't really know what to do, it was my first time with abuse like this), but i copied his name and hope you would be able to ban or even reprimand the user.

Well as I have said, I am hardly planning on communicating with Highlander in any way, and your advice here is quite wise in that regard. I do not view my initial chat behavior as harassing in any way, since... on the contrary, asking about the topic of a chat in a public chatroom is not strange, or new behavior. Most people do not react as highlander did, and when someone does snap as such... the recipient usually lashes back. I did not, and I merely responded somewhat sarcastically to his comments regarding myself not being a moderator.
I feel that my character is being defamed by accusations that I was somehow harassing, or attempting to provoke highlander in the first place.

Furqi, I fully realize that swearing and such in real life cannot be stopped. Myself... I am not all that offended when someone I have never met refers to me as a prick...
However, when this conduct appears on a site, or game that specifically forbids conduct of that sort.. I feel that it is my duty for the good of the gaming community to report such actions. Flame-baiting is more specifically what Highlander was attempting to do, and this action is in my opinion a form of what the rules of this site loosely refer to as "trolling".
I do see that this situation really is going nowhere... so I will rest my case and abide by Techgump's advice in regards to contact with Highlander. Thank you to Tech for taking so much time to address this, and to all those who spent time reading over all of this.

Dude, Swordalchemist. Keep it short. No offense, but writting long essays every single time about justice and righteousness is annoying by itself. I don't mind reading... I mind reading bullshit that can be summarized in a few sentences.

There was no WE, it was his "business" and he did not want to involve you in it. You are right, it's public so you can interrupt. But after he told you 2 times you are not a mod (a person more relevant for him to the situation), you still kept bugging him and pushing to the limit.

"So what happened?" "Why you are saying that" "Who told you that?"

- don't provoke people. Just know when to back off. Instead you continue (on purpose or not that doesn't even matter) and make a big deal about it afterwards. There was some abuse, you reported it. Highlander was warned, you too. End of story.

Someone says something unpleasant to you once - take a chill pill, relax. Someone does something to you - return the "favor, react!. If you come to disagreement, be the first one to admit it's your fault aswell (people tend to feel right all the time). It's all about knowing the time and place for confrontation. We're not making enemies here, we're reporting users who are constantly abusive without our own intervention
