To be honest, I find them to be a bit over-rated. If you want a race with a good attack boost, go for Tannenbaums or Werewolves. Of course, that's just my opinion... but it works for me.

It seems like the snowflakes would be good at all stages of the game AND whether it be 1v1 or 1vall.

Quite so, they bring everyone down to the same level.

For small attrition maps, I use natives.
Unless it's random, then I use pumpkins.
I use pumpkins for larger attritions maps as well.
On full maps, I use undead.
For hardcore, I use snowflakes or sometimes reptiles/arachnids.
I avoid use trees because they're completely overpowered.
When someone else is using trees, I always use flakes.

Whenever someone attacks or is attacked by the snowflakes, the reinforcement/def/atk bonus is disabled until the end of the round. (Red-brown) If the player who attacked the flakes attacks someone else, their boost is still disabled.

What happens when 3 snowflakes attack each other? How many gets disabled?
