My experience after about 1000 games.
Doesn´t matter between agressive or defenders, natives rules in attrition for some reasons:
- In attrition sometimes attack bonuses are so bad and undead are not so usefull like in HC. You attack to one region with 8 with one with 7 to weak it. You have after your first roll 32 to 29, it probably means that you and your opponent stay with 1 to 1 or 2 to one, but as you are undead and undead abuse the ability of his race, you rerroll and have a 34 to 11 and the eight survives.
- In manual you only places 8 because the ability of natives weaks attacks to your other regions.
- In random native players have a lot of problems to cut you.
- In borders the less usefull mode to natives because battles are almost ever between more than one army´s regions, but probably you give your opponent quite problems to cut you.
I have reptiles, arachnids, undead, dark knights and demons, and for att the best is between reptiles and natives.
-Natives better for the first half of the match. Because there are a lot of 1.
-Reptiles for the second, at the starting your bonus doesn´t work but before you could reinforce 2 or 3 adittional armies.
