You could make it were the clan has to accept you before you can use said Letters.

I mean, what if someone just added the digits into their name. (i.e. if someone with the digits got into that group the product would be [CLG][CLG]Elementz)

I don't see why that matters,however, you could simply not let them into the group and then they wont have the letter but in there name, and that would not count as being in the Clan.

It wouldn't count as being in the clan, but if said person goes into a room with a person from said clan the room owner might kick one of them out because he doesn't want pre-made teams.

The question is what are the odds of accidentally having the same letters, or if they do it on purpose to copy a clan then it is there fault. I do see what your are saying though, but i don't think it will be that big of an issue.
