Hey Lop,

I've faced Kupa and GuestDupa more than once and they are playing in a very unethical way, if not cheating altogether.

1. They do not let anyone with a bonus race play in their matches even though they do. They boot anyone with a bonus race. (Yes, I know that this can be avoided by changing races to a non-bonus race and fighting that way, but it is not fair for a player to do so, and I also know that you can change to a bonus race right before the match starts, but even so, not everyone knows how to do this or they just decide to go to another match. This is not fair for people who stay fighting against them.)
2. They purposefully speak in Polish to hide what they are saying from the other players. I do know however, that they are perfectly capable of speaking English because when asked--in English what language they are speaking in, they will reply--also in English, "Polish."
3. They always play as an alliance, which I know is something that happens a lot, and is perfectly legal, but they do not announce that they are playing as an alliance which is not fair to the rest of the players.
4. The whole point of this is to have Kupa (the leader) conquer all; GuestDupa only plays to support Kupa and after all other players have been taken out, Kupa will take all of GuestDupa's territories with no attacks coming from GuestDupa at all.

I believe that this goes against the standards that you have established for the game and should be punished.

I apologize if I have missed another thread or comment where you have said that this is within the rules, but I could not find anything pertaining to this issue before writing this.

P.P.S This is not because they beat me in a game, I am perfectly happy to lose, and have lost many times. It is also not because I was not good enough to defeat them, I would classify myself as a strong player and you may refer to techgump about my ability to play.

I do fully agree. "F*** Y**" may even be a compliment sometimes in this game. I do not want to advocate swearing, but I would not mind being called some words, after all it is a war game.

Where do you get off saying that? First of all, it's not my screenshot, as you can clearly see I quoted Algrael's post. Second of all, what profanity, the language I didn't use? Third of all, that's what I was talking about, e.g., for no reason whatsoever player is being accused, because, lets take one of the criterias, as I mentioned earlier this image was long before me, where's logic? You published content on this website that contained an obscenely vulgar profane word. It took the original poster over 40^1 actions to make that profanity visible here, while the person he is reporting did it in 4. He spent 10 times the energy into promoting something he claims offends him.

Whatever the punishment the individual who originally said the word receives is, he should receive 10 times that. I have not even begun to calculate the amount of people the screen shoted player exposed to that word vs the amount of people the person reporting him has. We would find ourselves in triple digits against him, and even more so against you, sir, for reproducing that content.

My point is simple: He came here to lash out at someone and exploit the admins sense of morality, not because he was actually offended by the players choice of words. By posting a screen shot of what was said, he has perpetuated that obscenity and exposed hundreds more too it, all to make himself feel better.

Yes, I realize that you were just quoting him and I am guilty of using you as example to show how these "reports seeking revenge" serve only to duplicate one hundred-fold the actual "profanity" that was committed.

Just trying to make a point. I see the stuff being reported here in almost every game I play. This thread is being used as a tool for overly sensitive players to grief other players accounts.

And no, I am not entirely serious. I am just in a very boringly awesome game of Vortex Wars and have a lot of free time at the moment, so I find myself browsing and posting the forums. Lets see a game mode with less time for each turn!

and do you realize that there are programs that let you do what you described in 40 steps make in one click? all you need is start new post and paste url that you have in your clipboard

Paste the URL of the game? And it automatically loads the image onto the forums? I'm not exactly sure what you are talking about... I play on Windows, so I may be missing whatever function you are describing if it is a Linux shortcut.

I just used that as example of what actions the average user would have to take to publish and redistribute for hundreds more to see what they originally claimed offended them.
